Mission Statement
To promote Christian values, unify and nurture the gifting of our Christians, staff, volunteers and partners, to plan and foster Ministry development toward empowering the local parish churches to fulfil Jesus Christ’s Great commission.
The Mission and Outreach Department is designated to equip the local church for effective mission and evangelism.
The Mission Department engages and empowers the East African Church Revival Team and other Church Organs, to ensure that salvation is preached in word and actions. The department also endeavors to encourage every believer to directly get involved in the implementation of the Mission and Evangelism activities by joining village cells’ leadership to enhance the family ministry and win the souls for Christ
There are four () Units within the Departments:

Youth and Children Ministry

Mission Statement
- Establish functional youth friendly church programs in order to develop holistically respectful and God fearing youths (through evangelism, discipleship and leadership training) for next generation by focusing on strong, effective, and dynamics activities.
- To have functional Children Churches (CC) in all parishes
- To evangelizes children with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This unit focuses on the spiritual nurture of youths and children in the Diocese. The Unit equip Youth and Children’s leaders at Archdeaconry and Parish level for evangelism and discipleship and prepare them for mission work. The unit also reaches out to Youth and Children in Educational Institutions within the Diocese as well as school dropouts by organizing conferences, missions related activities, games and sports, and music and drama.
Mother’s Union and Family Life Programme

Mission Statement
Mothers’ Union as a Unit exists for the expression of Christian Faith by the transformation of Families and Communities.
Mothers Union supports the celebration of families through capacity building, positive parenting, and facilitating income-generating projects and evangelizing in order to have God-fearing families. Family Life Programme focuses on enhancing the building of relationships between couples and peer groups so as to work together in order to improve the quality of life, alleviate poverty, and train for discipleship within families and communities.
The Mather’s Union Unit is tasked with wiping out unchristian beliefs about and negative attitudes towards women and the girl child
Society has not treated women and children fairly, unfortunately, this has remained the case even in some Churches today. Because of this, the Diocese is attempting to organize Christian women into groups under the umbrella of Mothers Union and Women Christian Fellowships to carry out tasks of training young women and girls about their God-given potentials and rights.

MISSION STATEMENT
Building positive Christian growth and the families through focused leadership
This unit set out to raise model men in the communities.
- To motivate members to keep marriage vows in order to provide Christians Values, harmony and mutual respect in families
- To promote fathers’ Union in all Parishes and encourage others to come out do so.
- To mobilize and sensitise parents on responsible parenthood
- To provide counselling and guidance services to families
Intercessory Prayer ministry
The Unit provides training for trainers at the Archdeaconry and Parish level to teach the Biblical basis for intercessory prayers and best practices in promoting group and personal intercession in congregations.
