UNFINISHED PROGRAMMES AND WORK IN PROGRESS

1. Refurbishing St. Peter’s Cathedral with the connection of Dr. Ambrose Agona, we have a commitment from donors who shall support the Diocese with 1.5 billion Shillings to refurbish and make St. Peter’s Cathedral Ultra-Modern. This was delayed due to COVID 19 Lock down. We hope to follow up and start soon, now that the lock down has been eased.

2. Expanding the Hass Avocado Project to touch every corner of the Diocese. This is intended to transform the economic status of our Christians as the donors supporting us to rehabilitate the cathedral are the major buyers of this product in the international market.

3. Conducting further capacity Building Programmes to equip our clergy to better sustain themselves economically.

4. Registration of a Multi-Purpose cooperative society to spur the development of various sectors in the Diocese and promote the culture of savings among Christians and economic growth and development among the Christians in the Diocese of West Lango.

5. Construction of staff Houses especially for heads of Departments at the Diocesan Headquarters to eliminate expenses related to staff accommodation and the temptation to travel to work from far.
